Bournemouth make crucial signing

Cherries assistant manager Jason Tindall has followed Eddie Howe by signing a new contract today

Howe signed up previously to a deal taking his future at Bournemouth beyond 2018 after a clause in his previous contract had been triggered by promotion.

And Tindall's new deal is believed to take him to 2020.

Howe and Tindall, who had been team-mates at the club during their playing days, set about reviving Cherries’ fortunes and masterminded the Greatest Escape just months later.

They guided Cherries to promotion the following season before leaving for Burnley in January 2011.
