Manchester United closing in on Sanches
It will come as no surprise that Manchester United are in the market for increased firepower after the lacklustre performance of so many of their attacking ranks this season.
However, the name Renato Sanches will be a new one to many Reds fans and will surely pose more questions than answers.
The Mirror report that Sanches' agent Jorge Mendes has been in the north-west this week to watch the Champions League semi-final at the Etihad, but has also held talks with United over Sanches' future.
Medes will not come cheap and it is also reported that Manchester United will need to activate his £45million buy-out clause in the five-year deal he recently signed.
This is surely just the start of the many transfer stories covering Luis van Gaal's transfer activities this summer. That is, of course, providing the Dutchman is still employed at Old Trafford after the Premier League has ended. Watch this space.
