Jack Wilshere fit and ready - According to Instagram

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is looking to put the disappointments of last season behind him as he gears up for Arsenal's Premier League campaign.

Judging by his Instagram account, Wilshere is hoping to forget a campaign that saw him sidelined with injury from pre-season in 2015 until April 2016.

The midfielder managed to return to fitness in time for England's ill-fated Euro 2016 campaign in France.

Wilshere posed while doing pull-ups on a bar above his shower, handily positioned next to a rack of weights, as he prepares to return to Arsenal for pre-season.

And the midfielder's caption implied that he was keen to forget his last troubled year.

He wrote: 'What's done is done, all I can do now is prepare for next season the best I can.'

The 24-year-old played three games at Euro 2016, although he only started the 0-0 draw against Slovakia in England's final group game.
