Leeds United will complete the signing of Leicester City striker Chris Wood today, providing Uwe Rosler with another boost early on in his reign at Elland Road.
Wood is certainly a man in demand with Wolves also having an offer accepted for the New Zealand front man, but the player has opted to move to Elland Road.
The sacking of Nigel Pearson at the King Power Stadium should not have any effect on the Wood deal with the player set to be unveiled to the media later this morning.
Wood completed his medical at Leeds on yesterday and has agreed a four-year deal.
Wood made just six appearances for the Foxes last term and with the striker in the final year of his contract Leicester have decided to cash-in on the striker.
