Wait eerr… Again!! No!! tell me it’s not a bite, please tell me it’s not.

Apparently it was, yes he did it. This time when the whole world was watching. And you know what, FIFA, yes FIFA have acted quicker on the Suarez bite than they have on the 400 people who died in Qatar building their stadiums. So FIFA spoke with a mighty vengeful wrath.

He was handed a four month ban from football and a further nine games ban for International football. Sadly he has broken another record, the longest World Cup ban in history. His world cup is over and he was ordered to depart the team’s hotel in Natal. Quite funny, it’s just the other day that he knocked the Three Lions out. He stole the headlines for all the good reasons (Except England) and funny memes of Luis Suarez trolled on twitter.

Now Luisito is back to square one picking up the pieces after another reckless suicidal moment to his career. After all that praise he got from his gaffer Rodgers and trust last Season, everyone witnessed a rejuvenated Luis Suarez, a flawed genius, a leader, a world beater who conquered all and collected plaudits everywhere he went. This was a summer of promise for many fans, a few shrewd additions and we were raring to go again, challenging for the title. But everything has changed now, he has scuppered with the club’s transfer plans.

The news didn’t go down to well in Merseyside. “Liverpool Football Club will wait until we have seen and had time to review the FIFA Disciplinary Committee report before making any further comment.” Liverpool FC is trying to assimilate all the details and implications handed down to Luis. The Uruguayan federation (AUF) has already announced its plans to challenge FIFA’s ruling.

My biggest concern is, why is Liverpool being punished heavily for an action he did while on international duty? This has also not gone down too well either with the Scousers. Am sure there is a way he could receive a fair ban without involving the Reds in this. Some will claim it's fair and that Suarez is a victim of his own reputation while others like me we beg to disagree. Okay, it’s not like am trying to defend him but let’s be realistic; he was punished under the violent conduct, right? Yes, is a bite (although stupid) any different to a punch, an elbow, a kick or a head butt? Then Pepe should have received a similar ban. It’s violent conduct and should be treated as such, period. It appears to me that due to public pressure, media pressure and rivals reactions, FIFA tend to change the rules as they go along.

Seems that my worst fears have become a reality, anyway I am still and will still give Suarez my full support until the moment he seizes to be a Liverpool player, but even if he makes a switch, I’ll still have a soft spot for him. Aristotle said “No great genius has ever existed without some touch of madness”. Every rival supporter will keep ranting on how Suarez is dragging Liverpool FC behind, but deep down they will want him in their side. Barcelona is still interested in the Uruguayan despite FIFA handing him a harsh ban. So I won’t buy the idea that we should sell him. Everyone knows how vital Suarez was to our title challenge last season. Next season we will be in the Champions League and we will need his goal scoring prowess more than ever. In short, let’s stick with him at all cost. Ferdinand was banned for 6 months after missing a drug test, Cantona was banned for 6 months after assaulting a fan but Fergie kept both scumbags with a ‘win at all cost’ attitude. And now people are trying to mislead us into selling Suarez after receiving a 4 month ban for a mere bite. No way!!

Luis is a hero and the number of people in Montevideo airport waiting to welcome him back says it all. I feel sorry for him, Betting website 888 has terminated his contract and also he has let his wife Sofia Balba down for the second time. Adidas on Thursday issued a statement saying that they do not intend to use Suarez for any additional marketing activities during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. But that is music to my ears since I know he will be back with a bang and bag more than twenty goals and everybody will be shouting his name all over again. Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini (the victim) believes the length of the ban is excessive. Maradona declared his unconditional support for Suarez who will be unable to play until October 26th 2014. As Reds faithfuls we will be waiting for a comprehensive response from Anfield. The Liverpool chiefs do have a tough decision to make; there are rumors that a meeting is to be held immediately to discuss the way forward. By any chance, should the club contemplate selling its prized asset, then they should try and screw out the best possible deal for the attacker. What I don’t understand also is that they have banned him from training and attending Liverpool matches. This alienation can kill a player’s passion and when he returns, he may take another month to feel fit again. But as for me, I back Suarez to come out strongly. I don’t know about you, but I would welcome him back. #YNWA
