Palace eye double swoop!

With Pullis back from commentating on the world cup, along with the England squad (who if they had showed as much bite as Suarez may well have reached the last 16) it appears the transfer rumour mill has once again gone into over drive.
Hot on the agenda is the strengthening of our much loved defence and a striker that has a nose for goal. With Speroni, Ward, Marriappa, Delaney and Dann performing, what can only be described as a miracle, last season it appears Pullis wants a few new additions to solidify the team even further.
The current tabloid titter-tatter points to a double swoop on our relegated blue or should that be red Welsh dragons of Cardiff. As most Palace fans will be aware by now, Caulker (22) is top of our shopping list with a price tag of 8 million closely followed by Campbell (26) for a mere snip at 1 million.
Caulker is a much in demand centre half with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and most recently QPR hahahahah (if you’re a true red and blue you will know that song) all linked with acquiring his services. Campbell is a more realistic target with a never-say-die work ethic and at a bargain basement price of a million pounds surely we would be crazy fools not to bid for him.
If the magician, that is Pullis, can swing a double raid on Cardiff then the spine of our team will be looking absolutely sublime. Alas, it is still only a rumour, but one which I and many Palace fans hope will come to fruition and at 9 million for the pair, great business by the board once again.
I still voice concern at the lack of no recognised left back but hopefully that will be addressed in the coming weeks along with a creative midfielder with a good engine on him, to cope with the Palace work ethic. One last snippet that I found, was that it appears Crystal Palace are in the final stages of tying down a deal for Yannik Bolasie who should hopefully sign a new long term contract by the end of the week.
As Hannibal from the A-Team said: “I love it when a plan comes together.”
