Has Luck Finally Turned for Chris Hughton's Canaries?

Luck is a fickle creature. Summed up no better than in the Swedish proverb,
Luck never gives; it only lends.
After the performance on Sunday against Tottenham, I for one am thinking that luck has finally finished lending its bad side to Chris Hughton’s Canaries.
Whatever profession we are in, we are all capable of the odd mistake or for want of a better term, bad luck. When it comes to Norwich City, it seems that for most of this season bad luck or the odd mistake has led to a goal and ultimately the loss of a point or three.
On Sunday there was still the odd mistake, but unlike previous games good luck was abounding. The normally serene Josef Yobo kicking fresh air but Sebastien Bassong mopping up for him. Then Bassong himself apparently checking his best side for the cameras and John Ruddy acting swiftly to smother the danger.
As I wrote last week, I believed Norwich City’s next eight matches all to be winnable. So that’s one down and seven to go. Now for The Villans.
Aston Villa, despite the loan signing of ex-Canary hero Grant Holt are in a downward spiral. No wins in February and three tough fixtures in four after Norwich.
So luck, if you can lend your good side to the Canaries strike force on Sunday, then I can see another 3 points heading home to Norfolk. It may not be pretty, but a goal from either Van Wolfswinkel or Hooper will do for me. If not, luck if you’re reading, a Grant Holt own goal in the 90thminute will do nicely!
