QPR's Wembley Build-Up Begins!

The build up has started for Saturdays Championship play off final at Wembley. Although tickets have yet to be delivered, both teams have allegedly sold out their allocations. Discussions have switched to where people intend to meet up for the pre-match drink, which route to take and what time to arrive.

The future of both clubs will be decided by Saturday evening and some will be elated while others will be picking themselves up after the bitter disappointment of a Wembley loss. The match generates great wealth for the winning team, but life will undoubtedly change for the winners. A struggle against relegation is often the most that newly promoted sides can expect, though occasionally a promoted side exceeds expectations and finds itself in the top half of the Premiership.

So, both clubs have sold out the ticket allocation and it could be a record attendance for a Championship play-off final. Rangers fans are organising a walk from Loftus Road to Wembley, the fans becoming more anxious, waiting for their tickets to drop through the letterbox. Anticipation is growing in both Derby and Shepherds Bush.

Speculation is rife on what sort of side Harry will pick, will it be an attacking or a defensive formation? It has been suggested that we succeed when we play a more defensive approach, soaking up the pressure and hitting back on the counter attack. Derby are certainly an attacking side and it might be Redknapp's plan to let them come onto us and as their frustration builds, the more likely it becomes that we will grow into the match and build the pressure for a late goal.

QPR would appear to have experienced professionals who are used to the big match pressure, whereas Derby have a young attacking side bursting with confidence and enthusiasm, built on the back of a good run into the business end of the season.

Whatever the outcome it will be a nail biting afternoon for both set of fans.
